Question about Legion Field's policies
Anyone know if they allow signs into the stadium? I would assume so, but I'd rather know for sure before I go through the trouble of making it.

As long as it isn't offensive.

I think it would only be offensive to PBJ

Yep.
If. Bear ever knew UAB would attempt to play D1 football' he would have never allowed UAB to start an athletic program.

RE: Question about Legion Field's policies
I have a question about the most baffling of all Legion Field policies. Why do they make some people walk around the turn styles? They made me walk around for the last game against La Tech.

I'd ask them why.

Because they wanted a low number that day.

Yes. Mackin and Watts informed them to make every 4th person walk around the turnstile.

And that is why I am somewhat confused. The city of Birmingham runs Legion Field and the City Council passed a resolution supporting UAB football.

RE: Question about Legion Field's policies
I've been bringing signs to games for years! I got a special one being worked on as we speak. As has been stated here already, as long as they're not offensive or raunchy, they'll not stop you from bringing them in.

He didn't care very much for Birmingham, either. He was instrumental in "persuading" his friend, Hugh Culverhouse, to not put an NFL team in Birmingham in the early 1970's...

If you see them running people around the turnstiles, take pictures! Video it!

Hell, I'd like to station someone on every gate with a clicker and take our own count.

The attendance number for the last UAB home football game came from one person...and it was not based on turnstile numbers.

Who was that person? If I'm not mistaken, Scarbinsky tweeted that the LA Tech attendance number came from UAB, not the Parks Board.

& there are 2 at UAB that apparently have a reason to lowball the attendance.

Hmm...who in the Athletic Department would have the authority to make that call?

RE: Question about Legion Field's policies
If you consider that the west side entrance can probably be manned by 1 or 2 as well as the east side entrances (if there is one) & have a couple on each side of the south side & north side maybe 8 to 10 people would do it.

Why would you make this a sign? It doesn't make any sense.
