If real Richard would be a great roll model for folks as he is rich, erudite, well spoken, conservative.

Our society would be so much better if people followed these simple rules:

1. Get educated in a discipline that has economic value such as chemistry, engineering, finance, medicine, plumbing, electrical, etc. Skip the majoring in foo foo stuff like philosophy, female studies, black history as these only qualify you to work at Starbucks or teach future students such foo foo.

2. Get a job

3. Stay married

4. Only have children after married

5. Don't do drugs

6. Save and invest 20% of your income

7. Join UCATS
8. When a law enforcement officer tells you to do something, do it.

Can we change the title of this thread to "Common sense ways to live your life"?

Amazing how difficult these things are to the majority of Americans.

oohh! derailment! i finally have something useful to say. subflea, i can legally marry you to whomever you wish. i think gay marriage is still taboo in ohio but you can transgender a man and make he a her if that's your thing. that possibly can't go wrong. you guys could be in a hot tub while i preform the ceremony. you can use my hot tub because of course i have a hot tub. new nickname for coach tubs? anyway, that's how anyone can get married. myself, i'm not terribly traditional but the lady's father is catholic so we got married at the chapel in my grandfather's retirement home. my mother's second husband and her were married in our living room and my grampa was the presiding mc. her third husband and her were courthouse married. i need to find out what was the setting of her first. i'm holding out hope for a frozen over lake in northern north dakota. can't get more northern than that!

Yes, but statistics show you are less likely to. The quickest path to poverty in this country is having children outside of marriage.

More than likely, I spend more on UC athletics than anyone else on this board.

While a student at UC, I majored in CS and minored in Econ. For those who do not understand why prices go down as the date for a limited supply event draws near, please do ALL UC grads a favor and refrain from telling others that you are a graduate of UC.

BTW, one can enroll in enrichment classes at UC for a variety of interests. Please consider doing so. If you do, you might have me as an instructor if you pursue CS. Of course, I do so at a total renumeration of $0.00.

Give me a frigin' break.

Your intellectual arrogance is very unbecoming on you. I would stick with a much softer color scheme. It works better with your pale complexion. 01-ncaabbs

I too majored in Coed Studies at UC. I made the deans list each quarter. Had a blast. Learned some too. Maybe we had class together. COGS

Spare us the academic mumbo jumbo. Most of us are familiar with the basic concept of supply and demand. It does not take a degree in Econ to understand why businesses discount their products. This discussion was about being more creative when selling tickets at a discount. In this case, a deep discount. I think dossbig has a great idea. Reward the loyal customers by letting them upgrade their seats at a cost and keep the cheap seats where they belong. Up top. This is easily achieved through today's computer driven society. I can sell/transfer my tickets to friends in minutes on my computer.

Not sure anyone was ganging up on Ash. I enjoy all info Ash or anyone else from Uc posts here. Thanks Ash.

As for the enrichment classes, I'll pass. Thanks for the offer.

What if a police officer tells you to show him your license?

Peoples unwavering support of police officers despite tons of evidence of corruption or ineptitude is baffling. Maybe one day we will start to hold them accountable.

Richard is a troll designed to get people worked up. He isn't real but the fake him is an insensitive callous assh()ole. Definitely not the type of person I would look up to. Not surprised you look up to him though. I'd imagine life is pretty empty.

If you are not a UCATS member please consider doing so as it not only helps out the student athletes' general scholarship fund but is also something "other entities" point towards when considering UC for the future.

Entry level membership is just $50 and can even be made via a payment plan. So if you can't afford to drop $50 right now we can even do it in installments of $10/month for 5 months. How many people cannot afford 10 bucks? This is a tax deductible gift and there are several benefits to UCATS membership, such as being able to purchase Xavier single game tickets right now.

The UCATS membership brochure can be found at GoBearcats.com. If you wish to become a member you can call myself at 556-0543 or click the 'Give Now' button online.

Thanks for anyone who is considering this and thanks to anyone who has already given this year. It is vital to the future of UC athletics.

Bump

So did we add the 513 new members to UCATS?
