Contact your legislators.

If you don't know who yours are (shame on you, but that's another conversation) you can find them here.

Do.

It.

Thankfully the competition for the game Saturday is not going to be very strong. Alabama is playing Western Carolina at 3:00 and Auburn is playing Sanford at 7:00. Hopefully the weather will be nice so we can attract the casual fan. It would have to be a very, very important family emergency to keep me away from that game.

Only two of them are yours, but contacting all six can't hurt.

Emails are good. Phone calls are better. The written word is best of all.

If you have friends or relatives that would attend the game if the tickets were free, but would not otherwise, let's not let that be a deterrent. I will pay for 20 general admission tickets if I can be assured that the recipients will attend the game. The added advantage is that if we can save the program these folks may come back and be season ticket holders in the future. If you got takers will make arrangements.

I challenge others to make a similar offer and/or round up folks to use the tickets offered. If we don't save the program, we will save the money spent many times over when we don't make contributions to the program.

We need to do no more than Coach Clark ask of his players – leave it all on the field.

I have to present at a conference in Nashville Saturday as I volunteer for TKE up here. The 22nd was the only date that worked apparently and the volunteer putting it together needs a lot of help with it so I couldn't leave him high and dry. However, I gave my two tickets to my dad and I'm sure he'll get them to the right person. Give em hell boys, I'll try to watch the game somehow.
