Good game Herd. Disappointed in Rice, thought they had a team that could compete. Not being able to run or throw is a credit to you D.

Thanks. I have to admit, I thought it was going to be a lot closer than it is. Rice has been playing well lately and knew they wanted to drive a stake into our heart at home.

Could be a meaningless game if we beat ODU and you beat UAB and WKU.

I am just looking forward to a great game no matter what. I haven't been able to see Louisiana Tech play yet this year and against Rice has potential to be a great one.

I'm just wondering how much we'll play our starters if it doesn't mean anything.

Understandable. Sometimes I think we keep ours in longer than we should and I cringe with every snap. Just waiting for that "one more play" for something to happen to a starter.

SURELY Marshall will be ranked Tuesday right? I mean this was supposed to be a test for them and it looked like every other game they have played this year. That and several 20-25 teams lost. I don't really think much of the committee but they have to rank the Herd at this point right?

I think they will rank Air Force ahead of us since they won tonight and improve to 8-2. It also depends on if Boise St. wins. They could also be ranked ahead of us.

For those of you that couldn't make it to the game...IT WAS F-ING COLD!!!!!!! I stayed till the end of the third and just couldn't take it anymore. I never leave early but it was pretty miserable after the sun went behind the west stands. GG Rice. One question, was that targeting call on Ellerbe crap or a good call? It didn't look all that bad on the field or replay but I figure those watching on TV saw better angles. I mean it looked like a cheap shot after the returner was wrapped up but not a hit worth getting kicked out of the game for.

Air Force is not and never was in the conversation and Boise still has two losses one of which is to Air Force, a G5 team. Colorado St maybe but they too have a G5 loss.

congrats and yes, it will be very tough for tech to beat MU. I would give us a 1-10 chance to pull the upset in the Champsionship games. Too bad your schedule was soooo bad, you could be a top 15 team this year.

MUther, you need to invest in better cold weather gear. It wasn't that cold. I wore a set of Cabela Polartek with jeans and a hoodie and was fine. It's worth the money. We started tailgating at 10:30 and I just got home, that's a solid 9 hours out today.
