Toledo is built pretty well to handle VCU's press. Good ball movement and a willingness to play an up-tempo offense with lots of fast-break points will let you hang with them.

ehh... I wouldn't say Toledo is has been smart with the ball in the past, and we certainly don't play good defense.

But yes..Juice is a good pg and should bode well himself against the zone. Jon Jon Williams will need to be effective bringing up the ball when Juice cannot and Boothe will have to make smart passes in the middle of the full court offense.

It's been a while since a MAC team has defeated a ranked school. Hopefully Toledo will play well enough to break the drought.

Too bad for the Rockets that they fell apart late. Played a good game.In a way, kind of reminded me of the MAC final last year when WMU broke a tight game open.

Would have been a nice win.

Seemed like they tightened up and made some sloppy plays that les to turnovers that led to points. VCU capitalized

On the positive side for Toledo, for the most part they played a good game against a solid VCU.

On the negative side, the result of this game will count for ZERO when the NCAA tournament committee selects their at-large teams or seeds the Rockets if they earn the MAC auto bid.

I didn't get to see Ball St vs Utah but watched Buffalo @ UK and Toledo @VCU and both of those games were hard fought and competitive on the road vs ranked teams. MAC is representing well this year.

Silver lining is that games against lower division teams don't affect RPI regardless of outcome.

Buffalo up against UT-Arlington 67-52 with 4:27 left.

I'm going to take this as a good omen, considering its a road game in Texas just 48 hours after an exhausting loss to Kentucky. Don't know how good UT-A is this year, but they beat Bradley by 10 at Bradly. Can't be a bad sign.

CMU beat Youngstown State 75-63 tonight.
