Today Toronto in January
... was more like Toronto in April.

All of us who traveled by car or bus and crossed through Buffalo drove the south shore of Lake Erie. From Cleveland to Buffalo this stretch of road is always in threat of lake effect snow.

With good weather the trip was easy. Snow would have kept a lot of people home.

The stadium was closed in the upper deck but well filled in the lower and middle stands. The Westin Hotel was full of Bearcats.

Last Saturday I suffered through the OU basketball loss in Cleveland. This Saturday I thrilled to a Bearcat bowl win.

It has been a great weekend. The alumni association and the University made all feel welcome.
