I'll take 10 minutes or so on the throne before going to work. For reading material what do you recommend?

I currently have Bloomberg BusinessWeek, and since Bloomberg's mayoral retirement it has gone from moderately central to full on leftist.

Are there any central, middle, paper publications out there? I get the WSJ, and enjoy it but I'm looking for a reasonable weekly magazine for 10 daily minutes of potty time.

Go light but informational. Men's Health or something of the kind. It's both entertaining and educational, and sort of on topic for the activity at hand.

Crossword puzzles. Difficult ones that will tax and improve your mind.

I tend to stay away from using my phone while taking a deuce....kinda gross to me.

I normally just spend the few minutes thinking. About what depends on the time, day, and emotional state I'm currently in.

For schits and giggles get a copy of Howard Sterns Private Parts. Short chapters great for the crapper.
