RE: LaTech @ UAB game
Well despite what is going on with the BOT thingy, i am very excited for this game. I really hope the players can put this distraction behind them and play a good game.

I think we might just be balanced enough that we can score points on your defense. I guess it depnds on how Cody can manage the game and not make stupid mistakes.

At the end of the first quarter we're having a promotion:

Punt, Pass, kick. If you get it through the uprights you get all the fried Chicken Little you can eat until Peanut Butter and Jelly has a heart attack and dies!

I have been trying to avoid the sauce before noon on game day, but guess it won't be happening this time...

UAB pulls the EPIC F U and gets its 6th win and secures a bowl bid.

I am predicting Dawgs win 42-23 in this one. We will not break 50, and will probably only break 40 in garbage time. I think it will be close at the start of the 4th quarter. Hope for a clean game and safe travel for all.

RE: LaTech @ UAB game
The point spread is currently Tech -4 so I expect a close game with UAB and really hope we can come out of Birmingham with W.

On a side note, I think the Tide and what they are doing to UAB's program is just sad and I hope this works out in a positive way for UAB.

La Tech fans are very confident. I don't see it. UAB will lose by 3 or win by 3 in this game IMO. Gonna be a good one. Im gonna go with 31-28 UAB

RE: LaTech @ UAB game
It depends on how well UAB can run the ball. If Tech stuffs their run game, is their QB good enough to beat us in a one-dimensional passing offense?

If they can run a balanced offense it will be a great game.

Blowout W's in conference games will tend to do that to a fan base.

Big game for both teams. I can't wait to see this one. No offense to the teams tech has played to date but this should be a real test. This game will be a barometer for if Tech can win the west.

With everything that has been going on this week at UAB, it will be interesting to see how the guys come out and play. Something tell me the Blazers will put everything they have into this game for the fans and also knowing they have a bye-week ahead of them.

Or, all the distractions and uncertainty of the program can have a negative impact on the players and they come out flat and uninspired. It will definitely be an interesting environment at the game Saturday Morning.

RE: LaTech @ UAB game
If UAB can get good pressure on Sokol and have success running the ball this game will be interesting. If UAB becomes one dimensional on offense and cant get consistent pressure in the backfield, then Tech wins in a blowout again. I feel like it will close early with UAB defense fired up but after a few turnovers from the UAB offense giving Tech a short field I don't think UAB can score enough points. This will be another win for Diaz.

Blazers are going to come out fired up tomorrow and take the W. However, I do believe it will be a great game.

This UAB team is focused. They are playing liberally for their program's existence.

Well lets hope it goes better for UAB than it did for the liberals in the mid term!
