The Blaze is reporting that CNN said that Crist got denied his request to extend voting hours in Broward County... Hmm... wonder if he's worried about not winning much elsewhere?

Scott vs Crist is the most Giant Douche vs Turd Sandwich race in the entire country. Even more so than Hagan vs Tillis.

yup and I voted for neither.

Wow.. listening to Glenn Beck, who's taking your "Libertarians or nobody" argument.

They have people watching each state, and they basically said the Libertarian split may cost the Republicans NC and Glenn was like "GOOD! I Want the Republicans to lose because of Libertarian votes".

Really?

I had to spend two weeks in Arkansas over the last month. It seemed they spent $100M each in tv ads. It was brutal.

I dunno who Mitch got as his speech writer, but he's a good one. If I had no knowledge of Mitch's HORRIBLE track record I might actually like him after that speech.

Really? First thing I got out of his speech: "let's work with Obama on things we agree on ".

IN otherwords, if we win the majority, we're gonna shove Amnesty down your throat, and there's nothing you can do about it!

ABC calling NH for Sheehan.

Yes. Warner may very well pull it off. BUT, this is big news because it is so close. And Arkansas called so quickly. And Kentucky such a larger margin of victory. The night does not bode well for Democrats. I don't think we'll have to wait for runoffs to know the Republicans will take over the senate.

I'm calling it now-- a firm prediction: We'll know for sure before sunrise tomorrow that Republicans will take the senate. Wont' take until December/January.

It may STILL not be enough. If the current margins in Fairfax County hold, Warner will gain 37,950 votes. He's presently down 75,000 votes. And there are still large red counties still not much in either: Prince William, Gloucester, Hanover, Spotsylvania, and others.

Gilllespie has been 5-6 points ahead since it was 30% in. Its now over 60% in. It may be getting close to being desperation time for Warner.

RE: Open Thread - Election 2014
the american idol vote is going on in NC: Clay Aiken 50.5, Elmers 49.5% with 17.2% in (May be more per CNN)..

Nate SIlver drops his %age change for Republican control of the Senate to 74% with the Sheehan win.

BTW: 25 Senators who voted for Obamacare are out (whether for retirement or voted out).
