Acutally had to park there a few times in the OLD days when we played the gumps there.
I wont ever forget a hole in the wall store called the tide and tiger drive in on Graymont right across from the south end of legion. Back in the mid 80's i watched a steady stream of people haul case after case of beer out for over 3 hours. Dont know where the the wild world of sports they could have stored it and kept it cold.

Are you being funny?
Are you?
I'm serious. He may not see game day traffic depending on what time he arrives to the stadium.
Good thing is I can leave Chattanooga at 8-8:30 and with the time change be there by 9:30-10. Just want to make sure I'm not in the "personal" lots.
Thanks guys for all the good info. First away game I've been able to attend. Being in the WAC with Boise, Fresno, and Hawaii made road trips a little difficult.
Here's to a great game, great weather, and an injury free game.

RE: UAB Parking
My wife and I have a room at the Hampton/Tutwiler. Looks like it is a short cab ride to the stadium. if accommodations are as nice as they appear, I'll probably go ahead and book a room for the conference basketball tourney (Yeah, I'm confident). What can anyone tell me a bout the area in the vicinity of the hotel?

Tut is nice. Straight shot to the stadium. I honestly would not take a cab to the stadium though. I mean you can and I'm sure you could make arrangements for the same taxi to pick you up. I just wouldn't do it.
Also, you might want to check the Westin next time. I think it's nicer than Tutwiler. Tut has a historic feel to it. I thought the rooms were sorta small but again that's just my opinion.

Thanks for the info! So you suggest just take the truck on down to the stadium? I certainly don't mind driving there and back. Seems there is only valet parking at the Tutwiler, too.
