RE: SunBelt Bowl Eligibility Scenarios
Right now I'm pretty comfortable there will be at least 75 eligible.

We had a teacher travel with us to Mobile last year, he went to his principle to ask about the day off and he told him, "I better see you down there because I'm taking off too."

Montgomery is ideal for AState this year so we will be some place else.

There are people who get paid a salary to do nothing but pick NCAA tournament brackets...just saying.

What most of us are pointing out is what the projections say. You can reasonably project that The Cajuns will be bowl eligible...yet you must win another game to actually get eligible.

it is only asinine to predict something if that involves predicting GS gets a bowl invite. It's ok to predict anything else.

No if you put aside your disdain for me and think about it for a second, if I predict you don't get a bowl and you don't, doesn't man I had any clue or knowledge what I was talking about. Sane can be said if I predict you will and you do. It could all boil down to a 5-6 team playing a rivalry game the last game of the year. If they aren't enough bowl eligible teams, I predict you get a bowl. If there are enough bowl eligible teams, I predict you don't. My comment about Vegas, is it's easy to throw sht on the wall and hope it sticks, unless you put your cold hard cash down, it's just sht.

I don't have any disdain for you. And in all honestly, as I type this, don't even remember your screen name. I just think it is dumb you attacked the guy for making a prediction, or "throwing crap at a wall and hoping it sticks" when this is a fan site and predictions get made all the time.

A lot of GS fans were predicting we would compete for the conference title and were barraged by people telling us we were being ridiculous and dumb for predicting that. And now that we are in a position to do it, it is now because of the soft schedule.

I can't speak on behalf of anyone else, but I wasn't one who said that. I didn't know nearly enough about you to make that claim. The Vegas thing was meant to be more of a joke than anything but I guess my humor gets lost in context.

As a football fan of University of Louisiana Ragin Cajuns I will tell you this I would call your schedule soft because you are in a position to win or share the conference with us. Just like a A-State would call out a Cajun fan or any fan calling out another fan. We are fans doesn't mean what we say is gospel we are on a message board WE ARE FANS that's all. Heck if I were a GSU fan i'd complain because the Cajuns avoided us with there schedule we are fans.

I agree 100%. That's why I was saying it was dumb to tell a guy he should take a job in vegas because he predicted something to happen. it's a sports forum. It is what we do.
