Was there something weird about today?

From the wheelbarrow of penalties, to the off camera shenanigans, to the TV commentators bizarre FAU homerisms.

I just felt like we were getting rolled there at the end.

It really felt like Howard and Co. won despite something.

What is that "something" Is there a something?

I'm not sure who I'd give the game ball to in this one...Jordan? JJ? Ty? I would have considered the defense, but they got worn down and couldn't stop FAU in the 2nd half, thank goodness the offense got it together on that final drive. This can't happen against La Tech, Marshall or Southern Miss. My heart can't take it!

UAB survived more than won, by blocking a kick just like our system mate did against Arkansas earlier in the season. UAB simplified FAU's defensive task by UAB's QB not being able to throw a vertical pass all day with anything resembling "touch". We never even attempted one in the second half. One of our short passes finished with a great long run for a TD though. If a game ball is to be awarded, it would be to our terrific RBs who saved our team from defeat today while exhausting the FAU defense (with the help of the O-Line). Any kind of WIN is better than any kind of loss.

I hope Clements is in better physical shape by the next game.
