Doesn't feel liek it should be this close. Weird game. Seems like a blowout and it's not

Man the announcers have already given up on the game. It's not over yet.

yea blown chances by both teams

explosive plays followed by flame outs

explosive plays that lead to points

long drives that got nothing

then long drives that got points

everything kind of went the opposite of how it looked like it was going just minutes before

yea just now talking about working the 2 minute offense like the score was 85 to 12 when it is only an 8 point difference with 48 seconds

this will be a big next 4 weeks for Texas State I think they might need to win at least 2 of 4 to get to 7 wins and a bowl game for sure

I think that 6 wins is almost certain, but I am not sure a bowl game with 6 wins is certain Texas State needs 7 wins

37-29 final feels good to put points on the board again.

The announcers for today's game use to do every football game. This was his first time back this season to do anything for NMSU Athletics. I really wish they would simulcast with our radio guy.

Happy we didn't lose to you guys like we did 2 years ago.

David Mayo racks up another 17 tackles on the season, the guy is a monster.

hasn't been pretty but we are 5-3 and 3-1 in conference. I'll take it...

better to win than to look good and lose.

first 3 road game win streak since 2009.

another indicator that the program is still improving.

It is wierd when the other team has 639 yards in total offense to 430 for the Bobcats and we win. But the good news is two straight conference road wins. We are 5-3 and heading home to take on a very good Georgia Southern team. We will be the underdog at home and I like that.

And frustrating to watch.

Two picks ( one which was tipped ), two missed field goals, season high in penalties ( at costly times ) mostly by the veteran O-line.

The Aggies may not be too far away, but yikes.

What happened with the kicker? Just not that good?

I know the wind was killer, not sure how big that was as a factor.
