GaSo does have the third best per sport average. Not to keep rehashing SoCon history, but GaSo was not doing much most years in either SoCon Cup in both total points and points per sport. I am impressed with what GaSo has done so far in the SB, and that is not just football.

The two 2nd place finishes propels App to the top of the Bubas Cup. I updated for the XC meet.

Alphabet using every school's proper/full name
Appalachian State University
Arkansas State University
Georgia Southern University
Georgia State University
New Mexico State University
Texas State University
Troy University
University of Arkansas - Little Rock
University of Idaho
University of Louisiana - Lafayette
University of Louisiana - Monroe
University of South Alabama
University of Texas - Arlington

Yeah, being picky......it's the kind of day I'm having (and figured this would piss some people off, needlessly) 05-stirthepot

I actually prefer this, and I do the damn thing, but the columns would be a bit too wide, esp for mobile based on some other posts on the Bubas Cup thread.

As I said it would. It's all in fun. However, even the SBC page doesn't do it the correct way. They drop the U of. It ain't right.

Being a writer, spelling stickler and advocate of proper names makes for frustrating viewing, at times. (I didn't say grammar Nazi.)

I don't do UALR at least, though that may be what UALR prefers. I need to learn all of this I guess-what each school prefers. I know ULL would prefer Louisana, but I can't get myself to do it.

I wouldn't even worry about it. I like what you are doing. It's similar to something I would attempt for baseball if I had the time or inclination. I used to. Lost the drive somewhere the past 2 or 3 years.

I teach high school physics and Astronomy and as much as I can Chemistry. I like numbers. I did every year of the SoCon going back to the first year the SoCon Cup was awarded in 1969. Lots of numbers and data.

I would love to do this for the SB, but I can't get my hands on the old records. For the SoCon I made the data based on the standings and tourny results when I did not have actual numbers. A few sports have been lost but I bet 95% of the data is correct and factual.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8Q2wZR...sp=sharing

You will need to download the file if you want to see everything in all its glory. Every school and every sport I could find is part of this spreadsheet back to 1969 or so. And I included lots of other data such as unity points to study a few trends. The SoCon awards points a bit differently than the SB.
