RE: Facilites Master Plan Announcement
I was going into this with low expectations, and any improvement is nice and fine with me. This sounds like more than I expected, especially endzone seats? TBH I don't care for endzone seats but I like the plan to make the place look more like a real stadium.

The Olympic facility sounds interesting. As a parent of kids that compete in these sports, I'd love to see an NCAA regulation sized indoor track and swimming pool!

My guess is that the plan is to move the students to the endzone. Hey, if you want to get in for free (not paying additional ticket prices like other schools), you'll have to sit in the designated area. That allows the program to sell premium seats in between the 30s on the east side. I don't mind this at all.

It wasn't specifically mentioned, but I hope there will be new facilities for broad jumping.

If anyone questioned Frazier's motives (new conference)...there's no longer a question. You can argue whether it's realistic or not, but it's clearly his goal.

They also played two FCS teams at home and both games drew over 20K. They are also playing seven home games which is something I know Frazier has said he wants to do. It will get better for us. I always thought Frazier and White the Buffalo AD were very similar.

White is shifting the culture at Buffalo, much like Frazier is trying to do here. It takes times but it is the right move long term and it will improve.

EMU had 19K for their game against the Huskies.

I don't have the link since i'm out and about. BUT I hope it follows that format

Here is UB's master plan for those who are interested.

IMO UB's AD would have been a finalist for our job if he was still at Ole Miss.

yeah, he's clearly trying to get out of the MAC. You don't expand to 35k to play Ball State on a Tuesday night.

If I can work some of my magic, Huskie Stadium will henceforth be known as THE GROTTO. (Yes, all references to the renamed stadium must be in capital letters!)

I also nominate DF to be the first to christen the new restrooms on the West Side.
