Men's soccer tops in the MAC
I'll be the first to admit I don't follow our soccer teams as much as I should.

Lost in the news about yesterday's great performance at Waldo, the men's team had a huge win on the road...

Quote:Senior Jason Grant scored for Western Michigan in the 31st minute and the Broncos held on to a 1-0 victory, upsetting No. 19 Akron on the road Saturday night. With the victory, WMU moved into first place in the Mid-American Conference standings with a 2-0-1 (8-4-3 overall) record.

Not small at all, my bud who played at Rockhurst years ago for their big time teams told me I had better wake up and start following. Here I was bragging about FB......

A little home-cooking from the officials? Wouldn't surprise me.

Two PKs late in the game after Akron was down 1-0?? Didn't see the game, but this sounds a little suspicious, to say the least. If this was the World Cup, some country out there would be burning to the ground if this same scenario played out.
