RE: NIU/Roosevelt predictions
How silly is this thread? Make a prediction, based on what? I would venture to guess NOONE on this board has seen Roosevelt play or knows anything about them this year. Actually, the same might be said for many folks insofar as never having seen this Huskie group especially Orris, AJ, Marin, Chucks, or even Marin....

Based upon their experience and the fact that the MAC is a few levels about Roosevelt, I gotta believe NIU will handle them pretty easily but any guess as to score is simply a wild, shot in the dark...

RE: NIU/Roosevelt predictions
NIU probably plays a scrimmage NOV 1st, I predict they win 73-62. I hope maddawg is being tongue and cheek by starting this thread. Lets just call it ftball frustration.

RE: NIU/Roosevelt predictions
I predict both teams play and most of them play basketball while a few play hopscotch on the sideline until the coaches break it up due to a fear of injuries.

I guess a joke could be made but really how many games have we had over 500 the past 8 seasons?

Essentially all of them. 500 is easy for us, but 1000 is the challenge. We have been below 500 but we don't average below it.

RE: NIU/Roosevelt predictions
NIU - 101
RU - 60

NIU plays it like a preseason game but doesn't take off the throttle. Highsmith doesn't play that much though.

RE: NIU/Roosevelt predictions
I cant believe this thread is still around but whatever. NIU is going to be playing 10-11 guys a game so it will seem like they always have their foot on the throttle. A couple of the second string guys will be as good as the starters. Also, Threloff will probably be the sub for Bowie when they use a bigger line-up.

RE: NIU/Roosevelt predictions
Saturday they will go and scrimmage Drake or some other team. That will be a better game than the Roosevelt Exhibition.
