Nice find! Yes,I think that Bass did a good job on this hire. And, I understand that some are unhappy with a few circumstances with the transition. UNCW finally got a good recruiter again. It's without question very important. The best teams that UNCW had also had terrific talent. Burnette, Blizzard, Williams, Terrell and Callahan ALL could play. And, they won. Same for the following year and the 2006 team. The Hawks have gone into games in the past 5 to 6 years without enough fire power to win. That's going to change pretty soon. It remains to be seen if they can do it this year without a bevy of shooters/scorers, but there is a ton of talented players coming the following year.
