So how did the team look?

Athletic, in shape... I saw some nice three pointers. Norton hit four in a row early in warmups.

It's really hard to tell. This year they didn't do even the minimal "practice" they have done in years past, where the team would run the full court a few times passing and doing the weave. This year it was just the three point contest and the dunks.

They looked pretty good from what little I could tell... but you really didn't get much to look at.

Who won the dunk contest? Any video?

Tyler Madison won the dunk contest... we have a bunch that can throw it down this season. Probably the most athletic team since the Anderson years.

Madison won partly because the real winner of the dunk contest was the rim, it blocked more dunks then Dikembe Mutombo.

Cokely had the worst luck of them all... I think he had 4 in a row hit side rim, but he took that silly hat off and finished off a flat-footed jam. I think playing on a plastic court and no warm-up takes away some explosiveness.

Someone tell the people in charge to get some more speakers!! The crowd on the side near the food trucks could hear absolutely nothing! Good event other than that.

More importantly, how did the Jersey Belles do against the Mayor Bells in the knock out contest.

Couldn't hear so didn't hear the rules. I think the bald guy won...

Same. Good event, but definitely could have been run better.

Mayor Bell was the first knocked out. His shot was not very pretty. I'll give him benefit of the doubt due to he had on long sleeves of his dress shirt while everyone else had on tees...
