Akron takes a big loss with Isaiah Johnson breaking his wrist. He's out 8-12 weeks. That puts his return around the start or beginning of conference play. I wonder if Dambrot will explore a possible medical redshirt. Hate to see him waste a year if he isn't effective. They have Forsythe at C as well...so it's not like they are looking at zero depth.

Saw a glimpse of Jaaron Simmons in a video on the Ohio board. WMU recruited him hard 18 months ago. He was one of many PG/SG's that turned them down in the 2013 class. He went to Houston and transferred to Ohio after one year. Anyhow...this kid is gonna be a pain to deal with. I seriously think he is going to be all MAC when he's eligible. Kid can play.
