Guys, we have possibly the best player to ever play at UofL on our hands this year and she is only a sophomore. Angel took the game over tonight against Butler and scored 34 points in the second half to rally us from a very lackluster overall performance. Angel is averaging 20 and 11 now and is getting better and better.

For some reason she wasn't even mentioned as a possible POY or All Conference candidate before the season by the BE media guide, but I think she will be 1st team all BE if not an All American. She can dunk and is only 6'1" if that tells you anything.

We are now 12-0 and are ranked 14th in the USA Today poll, the new one comes out tomrrow (tues.).

Is she the girl who dunked earlier this year? I saw it on TV but forgot if it was her, Helen Johnson, or Jazz.

She is special. I think she is from Balto, MD. How did she ever get away from the ACC? Guess it just goes to prove there are always a few gems out there with just a little gulk on them and the right coach can see the luster underneath, clean um up, and let um shine.

on the discussed play from earlier this year she went up and layed the ball over the front of the rim and grabbed the rim for good measure. She can dunk though.
