Coaching Carousel 2014
Gets started early. June Jones already stepped away from SMU, but the Troy coach is stepping down at the end of the year and Eddie Gran is being talked about as a candidate:

Quote:Eddie Gran: Cincinnati offensive coordinator Eddie Gran spent ten years in the state of Alabama as part of Tommy Tuberville’s staff at Auburn. Gran has previous coaching experience at Ole Miss and Auburn under Tuberville, Tennessee under Lane Kiffin, Florida State under Jimbo Fisher. He was known as arguably the best special teams coordinator in college football for years, but has shined as an offensive coordinator and play-caller at Cincinnati, as well. With strong ties throughout the state of Alabama as well as Dade and Broward counties in south Florida, it seems logical to interview Gran.

RE: Coaching Carousel 2014
Eh... I can't even muster enough interest to know whether I'm bothered by this or not. If nothing else, I'd ordinarily be concerned about the "revolving door" effect on the program, but right now I'm not even sure that's such a bad thing.

[sarcasm] I guess Tubs could always hire the former OC from SMU to replace Gran if he leaves... [/sarcasm]
