Kerry Coombs is our new Defensive Backs coach. He might be able to bring his stud safety (Eugene Clifford) with him. Great pickup this will help immensley with recruiting in the Cincinnai area.

Wow! This is an unbelievably powerful hire and gives UC some serious pipeline to some unbelievable talent! A lot of people wanted him to be the next UC HC because of this pipeline of talent.

The smart kind of hires Schiano made when he first came on board. Not that he needed to necessarily but these things help alot for recruitment. And you guys aren't starting anywhere near rock bottom to boot. Something tells me Dantonio was good but Kelly might just end up being great.

Good point. Dantonio's first act at UC was to literally isolate all of the local coaches. That's why he's going to have a hard time recruiting in the Cincinnati area from Michigan State. Kelly is going about things similar to Schiano, but Kelly reminds me alot of Petrino in his aggressive philosophy and style of play.
