We need a keg for a pig roast tomorrow. I have no idea where to buy one. Anyone know?

Most of the gas stations up and down Port Republic. Prices are the same just about anywhere I'd imagine.

Back in the day it used to be Werner's Market. Don't know if the place even exists today. I think we used to pay $29 per keg. Charged $1.00 for all you could drink to all who came and we would make enough for the next keg! Eagle 4. We could have kegs in dorms back then.

I remember those days. We could drink at 18. Now you can take a bullet for your country at 18, but don't you dare even consider the freedom to drink a beer!

Campus corner has a great selection of all types of kegs not just the taste less stuff. I buy all my kegs there for my home bar.

Good question. A Three Bros. Drift barrel would make for a good day!

Oh man... used to be Main St. Chevron. Milwaukee's Best keg, with tap rental, $19. Not kidding. I wish that place never existed.

You and I used to shop in the same places, I see. Not sure if they relocated, but there's a parking deck where this beauty used to be.

Ha, so is Midway still in existence? Why did I think it had been consumed by the new PA center or whatever that is?

So, Bulldog, this means you're in town? Wish I were coming for this game...

Hey, Dunk! Yeah, I've been in the burg since last Thursday for some family reunion time. I had free tickets to the UD game, but I thought we would lose so I stayed away. Sad as hell.

We just picked up a 250-pound pig that Terrence Apted is roasting Samoan style. Choke pig and a keg of beer. Mo' bettah'!

We have had a very nice visit. New grandchild (#5). Heading back to Hawaii on Wednesday.

Is this the same place as "Mike's Mart"? They used to have a great beer selection

Dahamm, that's a pig! Good thing you've got someone like Terrence around to rassle that thing. That and with an investment like that I'm guessing you won't be looking for a 19 dollar keg of Milwaukee's best. ha

Hope you have a good time, not sure how you couldn't, and congrats on Grandkid 5! Someone's been busy...COGS

I think so... Mike's had THE 'original' walk in beer cave. It was awesome too, jerry-rigged and all. Looked like he got the couple from the Hair Ranch in Turner Ashby to build it out. It was fantastic.
