Shifty, I'll give you thee of these five statements in one line:

1) QB Play is decent - Agreed

2) Turns it over too much - Can't blame him for ALL the interceptions. Again, how many have hit receivers in the hands and then bounced into opponent DB's? How many when we're just playing air-ball just to get back into a game. There's only been 2 (I think) that were clearly on Mullens throwing bad balls.

3) ... isn't very talented. Disagree with this one totally

4) Receivers are terrible: AGREED. Massive disappointment with this group, they can't catch, they can't get open when Mullens is bouncing around for his life.

5) Offensive line is beyond horrible: I actually saw "improvement" in our passing OL, other than our RT last week. They gave Nick enough time to move around in the pocket, it falls back on #4 (IMO).

agree with all....just didn't want to type all that....I'm glad you did...

fix the rest and Mullens has the potential to become a very effective qb......he has the skill set....

Last year's game was pretty tight for a while.

Kajun, you don't have to worry about pushing the D-Line around.. you just run enough cut-backs and you'll find yourself outside the DL and you can pretty much run through our LB'ing corps (even Howze, who has been very disappointing, considering he was one of our better LB'ers before his injury last year.)

MT will run all over USM. Hope we at least have a good turnout for the game though I´m not crossing my fingers...

Los Vols jugar también... -_-

We enjoyed our roadtrip to Hattiesburg / The Big Sleazy last year (no wives 02-13-banana)

That absinthe about put me under, though

I'll be driving up from Atlanta. Probably not nearly as many Eagles as there would be if they were winning again. The game is on the MyATL (channel 36) station in Atlanta, too.

The bad news: We have freshmen and sophomores playing against juniors and seniors.

The good news: It might not look like it but they're getting better. We were in the game with Rice into the 4th qtr. Last year that wouldn't have happened.

Thing to look for: If our WR's are dropping passes you will pull away. If they are catching everything that touches their hands we will make a game of it.

Understood. I thought the crowd at USM was pretty decent last year, considering the team's struggles and the rain.

I'm afraid many of our fairweather fans won't show for the 11am game. A cold front is coming through, so bring a jacket. Temp possibly in 50's at kickoff-- bring a light jacket (or a heavy one-- better safe, than sorry).

eweTee vawls play at 11am also, vs. Flarda -- I see way to much arnge here in Murfreesboro for my liking

I guess the Miss State and Rebel gear has come out of the closet recently in Southern part of Mississippi, recently. At least those teams are good-- eweTee not so much.

That's funny. I was never able to find any of those Cox Sports / Fox Sports South / CBS Sports channels we were allegedly on, but I definitely get MyATL 36. It's right between Univision and Bounce.

First time MyATL has picked up the game. I hope they'll do it every week.

Also thrilled with the addition of MyAtl. Just made my night, maybe they'll become an affiliate for ASN? Not one in Atlanta currently.

They are an ASN affiliate now. The North Texas v UAB game is already listed for next week.

I've got DirecTV so all my local channels are from Atlanta. I've been watching the games picked up on Comcast Bay Area, but they only do about half of them.
