Oh, I get it...because Billups is from Mississippi.

Although, f we are giving away playing time, I would prefer that Nate German get reps. Someone is going to have to be our QB in 2016. If we have a blow out win, we should start getting a head start.
I've heard nothing but good things about German. some argue that he's the best QB but he's young. Read great reviews during Spring and Fall on him. Stehling to me is more of a passer and teams will not respect his running so they will drop 7 or 8. I would like to see these young guys get game exposure. Last couple of years we never played Stehling, DJ or Billups

With Jowan Davis tearing it up, I think they have to respect the run regardless whether our QB is mobile or not.

They were not respecting the QB keep option very much, and less as the game went on.

RE: Billups. I would have like to have seen more of him last year. This year, I think he is more an emergency QB. I think German will RS unless injuries make it needful to play him.

I have questions about our kicking. Good that Farrimond can handle the short to medium FGs. I think if we need to try a long one at the end of a half, Hairston will give it a go. If so, I hope that is the first half and not the second. I wonder about our other kickers, Price and Knopf, both RS Fr.

I thought German redshirted last year. He dressed for a few games but the RS. This year is J. Jones redshirting. Big tall kid who many think may get converted to receiver. I agree with Billups. Never seen action and he should be done after this year

I stand corrected on German.
