Best UAB crowd I've saw in a long time on "home" side. Hardly anyone opposite side tho. I'd say 18,000 ish will be announced attendance. Better crowd on this side than Troy or A&M

408 by my count with most wearing green. Looks like around 18k. nice crowd on home side. Still folks filing in late.

Why is anyone surprised by the media's obsession with our attendance when we can't stop talking about it.

But which came first, the Chicken or the Egg? Did the media start the discussion which led UAB fans to defend and refute attendance or did UAB fans have an obsession with attendance to begin with and the media then started reportin it? I believe it was the former...

We won't draw a crowd larger than today the rest of the season after today's choke job. Casual fan lost interest.

i know several former UAB students that attended their first game of the season (some, their first in years) today. they won't be back soon

Not even close. Embarrassing as hell, still. I have adjusted my expectations after today. I don't think we'll make a bowl any more.

After today's performance, we'll be back to hoping for 10K in the stands the rest of the season.

I'm one of those. I'll watch on tv but it's not worth buying 3 tickets and overpriced beer to watch us give a game away.

There's no reason this game should have resulted in a L. 2 poor coaching decisions lost us 6 points. 6 turnovers gave them 20. This team didn't deserve this loss.

My wife is not a casual fan and she said she will not be back until they inspire her to.

Saturday's are tough to come by.

My first chance to attend this year was this game. Maybe my grandsons peewee football games are not really that bad.
