RE: Week 4 College football thread
Looks like NU may have woken up for this one. If they score on this drive they should be in good shape in the 2nd half with the B1G vs FCS depth.

BGSU though can't tackle Wisconsin, and they are struggling on offense. Had a good drive, but they get balls tipped and they fight for small amounts. They aren't playing their A game, but Wisconsin is too much anyway. Wisky's going to run away with this thing. 21-10, and that's after 2 Wisconsin turnovers.

Does Jamaal Charles play for Wisconsin!?!?! This kid Gordon looks and plays exactly like him. Wears red and white, #25 and has dreads hanging out of the helmet. Scary how similar he is to Charles...wow

RE: Week 4 College football thread
EMU with 0 first downs and 7 yards of offense near the end of the half until the refs gift them a first down via a blown targeting call.

EDIT: Nevermind, they reversed it.

2:40 left to go in the first half, total yards: Michigan State 322, Eastern Michigan 7.

I've never seen a disparity like that in my entire life.

The Emoos before week 1 began, were talking how they were going to at least be around .500. One guy talked about 9, possibly 10 wins. Insane.

Halftime stats in Evanston (NU up 14-7):
Total yards: WIU 243 NU 147
First Downs: WIU 14 NU 8

I think this game will come down to the last possession, a la Nebraska-McNeese St.

WIU should be ahead but their special teams are failing them. Blocked punt, a blocked FG, etc.

Northwestern looks totally inept.

And Iowa still sucks. They have to fire Ferentz. His coaching style guarantees you'll lose games by 3.

Wisconsin looks like Indiana used to....but BGSU is learning they're a lot better than the Hoosiers.

I don't think they can afford to. His contract and buyout is insane.

Ditto Northwestern and Fitzgerald whom Phillips extended through 2020. Now that's a world class contract.

Wait--Isn't that one of NIU's signature wins.
