I'd take this with a huge grain of salt. ESPN has a network they're supporting in the SEC network. They have financial ties and are doing their best to toot the SEC horn.
Their top opponents in Fox have associations with the Big 10 and Big 12, so you would expect them to want to throw them under the bus.
