Thanks - into what town please? Norfolk or RIC do you recommend. Damn US Air fares earlier in week were $700 RT now over $1000!

Direct to Williamsburg. Would have to leave Philly early Saturday but could sleep on the train. Leaves at 4:40 am and arrives Williamsburg at 11:25 am. $67 value and $132 flexible (whatever that means).

Thanks Tribe - wow WTF runs a train at that hour!!

Amtrak, a government run railroad runs trains at that hour. Coming soon to medical care scheduling near you...

There are 1,440 tickets remaining (most of that in the south GA section) plus 216 in the Pards section.

Hopefully that'll fill up. It's parents weekend, so we might get a few extra stragglers.

But that's on pace for a 10k crowd, which for an early season non-conference opponent isn't awful.

It's not that bad IMO. I'm a student here but I'm from the Valley. If you leave early in the morning (6-7ish) it'll only take like 5 to 5 1/2 hours.

Looks like the reserved Pards tickets were released - visitors section now has 283 tix available.

Non-visitor section available is now 1,242 with, again, most of those in section II and GA seating under the scoreboard.

If the students show up in force (nice weather and sorority rush is over so they should) it will be a crowd well over 10,000. Hopefully it's a loud atmosphere!

RE: Game 4 - Lafayette
This game has me worried . I hope the second half of the NSU game was an aberration with only 60 + yards of offensive output in the second half. I am hoping Cluley just had a bad half and will loosen up a bit and remember he had more than one option to throw to.

What has me THE most concerned is the over abundance of my ole buddy tom petty....I have heard his wailing all over satellite radio and even on The Tribe's flagship station 92.3 The Tide.....last year he did not hurt us and I put an end to The Curse but just like a drunken QB Club member who is out of alcohol, he just won't go away..

Didn't we spank these guys by 4 TDs a year ago? The 13th ranked team should run Lafayette off the field.

RE: Game 4 - Lafayette
I've got to agree with this. Our defense should man handle them.

I'm hearing a lot of how we're playing bad and honestly I don't get it.

I went to the VA Tech game and we played pretty well against a very strong defense. Special teams mistakes and a couple bad plays on offense made that score a lot worse than we played and we took three points off the board.

We rolled Hampton like we should have. I would have liked to have McBride against Hampton. I don't buy the big lapses in the second half as a big deal. We were way ahead and maybe we played a little too passive. We played in front of a high school crowd. Hard to get motivated for that.

Norfolk State game was ugly, but we were up 29-7 half way through the fourth quarter so that game was never close either.

I still don't think we have a QB, but maybe Cluely will grown into the spot. I look for us to get better every week.

I couldnt catch that 4:45AM Amtrak departure this morning and not making the drive. My last hope using some frequent flier miles was doused. Anyways will watch it on web. Thanks to all for your help in examining options. Do we play down there again in 2016?

I believe our trip to Easton next year is the end of the series.

There is typically a pretty large walk up crowd on Family Weekend. Given only 1,000 plus tix left and a beautiful evening ahead, I suspect this will be near or at capacity today - 11,000+.

First time in a while that the forecast does NOT include the words "Thunderstorms" or "Possible lightning strikes" for a 7:00 PM start game.

Damn, if I had went and expected a walk-up ticket, would there have been one?

I'll vouch for that. You all are indeed gracious hosts!

Good luck today.
