We need a power grid blackout for a month or a couple of weeks. I think it would make people appreciate things a lot more and perhaps bring a little balance back. The only thing that would suck is bathing in my cold pond.

Today I learned the hard way, because of the business I'm in, that without the internet hospitals essentially shut down. From their monitoring systems, to their inter-department communications, to checking your Obamacare before they admit you, and more...they all stop without a network to connect to.
