I actually put a list together on this and posted it here (I think, unless it was sportsonly) some years back. Unfortunately, I didn't save it on my HD.
But, I would add to your comments that size and location matter.
If you're a recruiter from HR, are you going to make 10 phone calls to small colleges w/ 2000 enrollment, or 1 phone call to a university w/ 20000 enrollment? That's reality.
Location matters not only for your travel time as a student, but for the industry you hope to enter. Interested in pharmacy? Better to be near Philly than Mt. Pleasant, regardless of whether CMU has strong bio and chem.
Interested in the traditional publishing industry? Being near NYC is better than being at Dennison, no matter how high Dennison is rated (although you may have alumni connections from some schools like Kenyon and Oberlin.) And ironically, that industry was very big around my small liberal arts college alma mater back in the day. So pay attention
