Nope. Pretty sure I used it the correct way.
Yep, you're right.
The population has increased nearly 50% since 2000, all those peoole moved there because the city has literally nothing going for it right?
Different publications have given both the city of Murfreesboro and the university multiple accolades, including best places to live lists, best places to raise a family lists, best value in a public university lists, etc because the city has literally nothing going for it, right?
A city with nearly double the population, ~60% higher median income, and ~30% higher median home value than Bowling Green has literally nothing going for it, right?
C'mon dude, be better than the dumb sorority girl who uses literally to describe everything.
Being in the armpit of a major metro has a lot to do with those numbers, cost of living is probably triple. You can buy all the advertising in magazines you want, it is a dump.
As for the Super Bowl, middle fans have made it quiet clear that beating us is more important than winning trophies.
RE: How many of you Western Kentucky Hillbillies are coming down for the game?
This thread is literally killing me with all the talk from WKU hilljacks and how bad the Boro is. Not even close. It's twice the city BG is and I've been to both. Also, not only is Murfreesboro cooler, our goats aren't scared.

According to this cost of living calculator a $50,000 salary in Murfreesboro is the equivalent of a $50,048 salary in Bowling Green.
But why change the dynamic?
You just keep using dramatic exaggerations and blind speculation as someone who has spent very little time in Murfreesboro.
I'll continue using facts, statistics, outside opinions/accolades and my own experience of living there for seven years.
Just so we're clear, all of Murfreesboro/MTSU's accolades were bought, while all accolades for Bowling Green/WKUwere earned, in fact you guys probably turn away more accolades in a year than we've bought in the last decade, right? You guys can't have more people wanting to live there afterall, image if you guys had a population boom like Murfreesboro, you might see your home value and income increase, but you might see your money devalue by about .001%!

And to get back to the point of misusing literally, just by virtue of having a four year accredited institution educating literally thousands, many for free via scholarships and grants, the city has something going for it.
Let me pause to acknowledge how perfectly I've teed you up to rail on the education given at Middle.
Now, let's set aside for a moment that just about every ranking system has our two schools ranked very similarly. I'm not interested in arguing which school is better, I'll say Western is better if it will pacify you, but either way the schools are very similar in ranking and standards. Let's set all that aside and continue living in your alternate reality and say that WKU is a great school and Middle diplomas aren't worth the paper they are printed on, there are still thousands of young adults entering the workforce with a college education and contributing to society.
I supose you could argue that every person that ever graduated from Middle is actually a worthless leech on society, so actually the school is doing a disservice to society, but then I'm not really sure how deep your psychosis goes.
But even in your alternate universe, Murfreesboro is in America, so it has that going for it, unless of course you hate America.

As heated as the rivalry is, keep in mind this will just be the seventh time we've played in the last eight years, before that we went nearly two decades without playing. This rivalry will only continue to intensify.

I agree. And plus that place might implode with 30k.

Only if you guys weigh dramatically more than Georgia Tech fans...

Been waiting for somebody to take my bait! I said that because whomever built the erection set must have been thinking with a erection and the loss off blood flow clouded there judgement to the upper brain.

leave the jokes to anyone with at least 1 humorous cell in their body?
That was actually a relatively humorous joke.
Loosen the **** up and don't get your panties in a wad.
Some of you on both sides take this **** too seriously.
It was alright, I'm sure some middle fan was rubbing one out for it, but then he JUST HAD TO DO IT. And he lost it. You need to chill the **** out.
I'm perfectly chill. I just wonder why you guys feel the need to have e-slapfights every time our schools play.
Yes, we're rivals. Yes, we're not fond of each other. But your raging just makes you an easy target for their insults. You are so easily trolled, it's unbelievable.
Now you and I usually get along, so don't take it the wrong way. But seriously, let it go.

I cannot remember us ever getting along. You are as big of a nut job as 518. Who gives a **** about their insults, they live in Mutsboro. Their opinion does not matter.
