RE: MTSU is a must win game
Remaining games and the result of how the other teams have done. The big assumption is that Cincinnati will be very good this year. They haven't actually played a game so we don't know that for sure.
Sat, Sept 20 vs MTSU (1-1) Beat Savannah State 61-7, lost to Minnesota 35-24
Sat, Sept 27 at Ole Miss (2-0) Beat Boise State 35-13, Beat Vanderbilt 41-3
Sat, Oct 4 at Cincinnati (0-0)
Sat, Oct 11 vs Houston (1-1) Lost to Texas San Antonio 27-7, Beat Grambling 47-0
Sat, Oct 25 at SMU (0-2) Lost to Baylor 45-0, Lost to North Texas 43-6
Fri, Oct 31 vs Tulsa (1-1) beat Tulane 38-31, lost to Oklahoma 52-7
Fri, Nov 7 at Temple (1-1) beat Vanderbilt 37-7, lost to Navy 31-24
Sat, Nov 15 at Tulane (0-2) lost to Tulsa 38-31, lost to Georgia Tech 38-21
Sat, Nov 22 vs South Florida (1-1) beat Western Carolina 36-31, lost to Maryland 24-17
Sat, Nov 29 vs UConn (1-1) Lost to BYU 35-10, beat Stonybrook 19-16
Away games are Ole Miss, Cincinnati, SMU, Temple and Tulane. Probable 3-2, possible 2-3 with a loss at Temple.
Home games are MTSU, Houston, Tulsa, South Florida and UConn.
The farther Houston gets away from Kevin Sumlin the worse they become. Probable 5-0, possible 4-1, can't see any worse than that.
So overall Probable 8-2, worst case 7-4 for our remaining games. We do have a fortuitous schedule this year with no ECU and UCF games.
