That was Savannah State's band. Southern Pride was on the bottom level closer to the other endzone.

Okay thats makes sense. I'd never seen a band on the second deck like that before.

If you ever have the pleasure of playing at Bryant-Denny, they will put your band so far up in the upper deck it will take them 30 minutes to get to the field.

I was irritated that we missed almost the entire 2nd and most of the 3rd quarter that game...fault doesn't lie with Alabama as much as it does a former AD selling the bands seats 03-banghead

Why did he do that and to whom did he sell them to?

Georgia Southern fans that had ordered their tickets from Georgia Southern for the game. Ii was at an Auburn game many years ago. Do not remember who they were playing but the visiting band had to stand the entire game in the grass area between the stands and fense because there AD do not hlod out tickets for them out of there ticket allotment. He sent the tickets that they had not sole back to Auburn and the tickets were sold. At least Auburn allowed there band to attend the game.

This game does nothing for the fanbase. It doesn't help the team at all. I get the bogus FCS win thing. We need to strive for better. And it is to fallacy that SSU brings a crowd. They don't.

Since you have been talking about bands; just saw where the App State band is doing a Pepsi commercial,
and plays soon at a Panther game. Not knocking it, but our band has not been that fantastic in recent
years. Just doesn't make sense.

I have a feeling they will stay in the rotation based on the location and the cheap cost factors. I know we have Citadel on the schedule, and I wouldn't mind seeing Furman, WCU, or even CCU step in as our FCS team rotation.

One of us should schedule JMU to come in. Their posters would love that.

But they are too academically superior to play on the same field as us.

I've never seen a band in the upper deck at Bama. They are always in the lower level visiting fan section in the corner of the lower deck (same side as students and Alabama's band but other corner).

Going to be hard to hang with the wine (whine) and cheese crowd
with wiz and blue cheese. Better bring the BBQ.
