Quote:1) Canada's head of government is a fundamentalist evangelical (Steven Harper)
Harpers political pary has no opposition to Abortion. It's hard to cast the leader of that party as "a fundamentalist evangelical". In typical leftist fasion his opponents have thrown out all kids of things to "prove" harper is pushing his "right wing" faith...
His Church is conservatiev Christian he governs as a moderate.
Quote:The Mayor of Canada's largest city is a 'tea party style' conservative who is very anti-Gay (Rob Ford)
While ford is no moon bat I notice you left out that two separate motions were passed by Toronto City Council that removed key aspects of Ford's powers as Mayor of Toronto and transferred them to the Deputy Mayor. While for may lean right the council does now.
Quote:3) Church schools in Canada are supported by taxpayer dollars.

CBC Radio, the government's broadcasting company, refused to accept a paid ad from the Maritime Christian College, because it was advertising a lecture that was going to discuss family issues from a Christian perspective. No private broadcaster refused the ad.
The Canadian Broadcasting Standards Council (CBSC) decision had a show ripped for the air because of religious content and will now only allow the show on if it's pre screened.
In 1997, a Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission board of inquiry fined a Christian businessman $4,500 for running an advertisement in The Star Phoenix newspaper that simply listed four biblical passages that condemn homosexual behavior [Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13, Romans 1:26 and 1 Corinthians 6:9]. The ad did not even provide the actual text of the verses. - See more at:
