I think you are right, it sounds like it is going to be a lot more spread out in the stadium than the last meeting though, so maybe it wont feel like it.

Speaking of this does anybody have any pictures of the crowd last time? I want to post them on social media and I can't find any on google.

here are highlights of the game. you can try pausing it and taking screen shots for pics

The kicking game could blow it, and in a game that will probably be close....

Hopefully NIU runs it well and Mac has a nice "this job is mine" game.

NIU 34, Mildcats 27

Yep... I really hope the kicking game is better this week.

RE: Northwestern Predictions
It'll be a close game. Games against B10 teams usually are for us over the past few years, Purdue last year and Wisconsin in 2011 being major exceptions.

I think NIU pulls it out, but only just.

NU 28

I agree. I bet NIU may even bring more than NU considering they don't start school for another 3 weeks.

I could not find any either. I think the best you will do is youtube videos of the game itself.

So far I can only find the last few min...and that is rather painful to watch.

There's only 1 on there, and it doesn't give you much of a crowd shot. I'm hoping the NIU twitter comes through.

It will come down to kicking...I'll say NU takes it in another heart breaker, 33 - 27. NIU with 2 missed figgies.

• And finally, Siemian, on preparing for Saturday's game with Northern Illinois: "I think it's like any other week (except) I think guys maybe have a chip on their shoulder. Even coming in this morning, we watched the game film, I was ready to burn it. But I think we're really focused. We've got a chip on our shoulder."

I think the offensive line is a huge pro for our offense. I was completely unimpressed with the offense of NU. I think our D lets up some points early and then the offense lights up NU.

If we can run effectively we have a chance for a victory. I have no idea what we have on defense after last week's scrimmage. Lets say NIU 24 the Mildcats 21.

RE: Northwestern Predictions
NW looked like garbage last week, I expect them to improve but I just think they've lost too much talent with mark and jones gone. They don't have weapons to score fast. If NIU can limit long drives, they will be just fine.

I expect a hungry NW team to come out and I actually think they will be overly into the game and press. I expect a close ball game, but the fact NIU has more talented weapons than Cal does on offense, NIU will prevail.

NIU 35
Northwestern 27

That's a hell of a playoff series.

NIU students are being offered a game ticket and transportation for $20.

For this game I expect to see the best energy from NIU fans since the Orange Bowl.
