If Texas Tech wants a game with UC
After watching TExas Tech playing Central Arkansas I think UC should schedule them Home & Home with us getting the first game at the new Nippert. I am not very impressed with them or TCU. UC needs P5 games badly so AD Bone should make contract with any P5 team who ever will play Uc.
It would be in UC's best interest to play as many Big 12 teams as possible.

Unfortunately no P5 teams will come to Nippert and play. And a home and home probably is a very long shot as well.

Um, this is just flat out wrong. We have multiple p5 teams scheduled to come to Nippert. Had Purdue last year, Miami(fl) comes next year.

Bearcat Otto is not too far off the mark for future years scheduling of P5 teams at Nippert. Unless I am missing something (and I very well could), after the Miami, FL game next year here are the following notable OOC games at Nippert:
2016 - BYU (Independent)
2020 - Boise St. (G5)
2022 - Indiana (P5)
2025 - Nebraska (P5)
There still remains scheduling opportunities in other years but it is slim pickens for home games against P5 schools at this juncture. I do like the BYU and Boise St. home and home series though.
In terms of the OP, until we are in another power conference I'd play Texas Tech or any P5 team that wants a home and home series at this point.

Texas Tech versus Cincinnati seems to be an internet fan forum creation; however, I really hope UC does not schedule them because I don't feel UC would gain anything from that series. I am not against giving certain schools 2 for 1 if the situation makes sense. I would even give Louisville a 2 for 1 at this point because U of L last played at Nippert. At the same time I would want a 2 for 1 in favor of UC for our games against MAC opponents like Ohio University and Toledo. I still believe the Miami University series needs to be fixed. I am not sure if playing the game at PBS instead of Oxford every other year is the answer but I am very interested in the attendance for the game this season.

If we play them in a bowl game or at NIppert fine, but I don't want anything to do with those goofy taco throwing bastards and the "culture" surrounding Lubbock. Place is good for cow pies and getting shot, that's about it.

I don't believe Texas Tech or any P5 is going to agree to come to Nippert without a return game. Again, I'm not saying TT is my first choice for a home and home series. However, we aren't exactly in a strong position right now and no P5 should be off the table.

You would give a 2 for 1 with UofL? That would be depressing...

Playing a MAC school home & home is a big mistake for UC. The average attendance for MAC home games in 2013 was 16,739. The top attendance in the MAC was Buffalo 22,736, Ohio U 20,672, Northern Ill 20,669. Miami Oh averages 15,938. Eastern Michigan averages just 4,651 the rest of the schools range from 17,500 to 13,224.
I agree we should play Miami but either in Cincy or a neutral site such as PBS or but never in Oxford. Miami needs to do something to get folks to the games. The drive to Oxford is hurting them. Playing MAC/ Miami schools at neutral sites may help attendance.

Unless Louisville agrees to a home and home they won't be on the schedule. That is why Groeschen tweeted there was nothing in the works on this series last week.
