I got back from Atlanta late yesterday. I didn't have access, so I'm late posting this.

Question for you, Wilkie. Still think Holgorsen is Kragthorpe 2.0? ;-)

WVU played well enough to win, even the defense, which forced 'bama to kick 4 FGs. But too many dropped passes doomed the Mountaineers' efforts, Wilkie. Freshman FB Elijah Wellman dropped a sure TD, as did RS Freshman WR Shelton Gibson. The ACC officials didn't do us any favors in the game either. But there were plenty of bad calls to go around.

All the folks from 'bama were impressed with how well WVU played, and the other SEC fans were rooting for us against the Tide, especially the Auburn fans. I'm going to be getting together with some of the Alabama fans when they come to Knoxville to play Tennessee, even though they know I'll be rooting against them again. I met some really nice folks from 'bama.

BTW, congrats for the whippin' your Cards put on the 'canes - again. Petrino is picking right up where Charlie left off.

No, he is better than Krag's. You all had a chance to beat Bama.
