Tell your dad to hang in there. I actually know of a doctor who had the same issue ( multiple blood clots in his lungs). He was actually in worse shape than your dad (had arrested twice). Anyway, once they found the problem, he was treated with blood thinners too. Bottom line, the meds worked and he made a full and complete recovery.

Great news that the docs know what the issue is so that they now know what to do to make your dad better!

Thanks. Some info...my dad is back at his home. He is very weak but the medication he is on should start to turn things around. It will be a couple of two or three weeks before I think he is back to normal. I sure do appreciate you guys. It amazes me that so many people I don't know and never met take the time to say kind things. 04-cheers
