Let's Get Excited About Our New Radio Home(s)
Huskie Nation is excited today. Our team will begin the college football season with a test versus a team that will allow us to finally chose a quarterback. We also have a new radio home, WCPT as our flagship station and WIND 560 as our Chicago/regional outlet. Go to either stations website. Not one word about the "relationship" with NIU or tonight's game. For those of us who lamented over the critical treatment we received at the Score, at least we had some recognition including a web link. Take a close look this morning at 560's site and you will see a story about how U of I will increase Cell coverage in their stadium this season. Supporters of our program should let WIND and WCPT know we are watching and disapprove of the lack of attention. It is ironic that those stations are complete polar opposites in their formats.
