RE: Other FCS games this week
Maine had 187 yards of total offense.
TU and SBU got mangled against "lesser" teams and all three still have FBS programs on their menus. Hard to know after 1 game but the CAA Champ may only have 9 wins...lots of season left.

Is Towson losing to ccsu a fluke? How'd they look? I'd imagine that SB and Towson will not be as tough as in years past from this first week of poor losses by them.

Overall it was a poor showing from the CAA. Villanova was the only team that stood out, despite their heartbreaking loss.

I knew I'd read somewhere after that NDSU/K State game (probably in USA Today) that they were ranked- USA Today had them 24. I know you could say that isn't 1 of the 2 main polls..

I didn't realize that at the time. Thanks.
They weren't on the ap poll, which is the one the media predominately uses. I watched that game and there was no ranking number next to their name like usual. I also don't recall the sportscenter highlight saying they were ranked.
