I like 96's plan. I have actually considered this before. Get on board for about six months or so and then cancel, but the equipment piece of that is a pain, cause they require you to return it in person.

I'm not the biggest Hulu fan either, but no other subscription streaming service offers even close to the current programming and it still costs about the same as Netflix which takes months or even up to a year or more to add most content.

I may be giving Hulu too much credit, but the ads seem like they are probably a necessity to their business model.

I'm not a cord cutter. more of a cord adder. but I just got one of these things and its pretty cool. it runs the same apps (using android OS) that apple tv and roku and chromecast (I have all three of those as well), but it also runs XBMC (pre loaded) as well as runs web browsers to stream stuff if you want. I'm new to XBMC and its a little overwhelming to tell you the truth, but it is just as easy to find streams of games and movies as it in on a laptop. anyway thought I'd share as this is a good cord-cutting device and about the same price as the others.

I have not tried it, but supposedly you can. is there more live content on espn3 vs. watchespn? I always thought they were the same (one being an app on the other a website). I obviously don't use either very much.

I have access to ESPN3 on the computer, but not through the WatchESPN app on Roku so I have to connect a cord to view. This box may eliminate that.

RE: Unplugging
Anything on "3" is part of Watch ESPN. Same thing for 1 and 2.

ESPN puts most all its live content on the Watch ESPN site/app regardless of the number.
