Is there anywhere to park away from the stadium and catch bus o the stadium?

In the past UAB has ran a shuttle, but there is almost always plenty of parking inside the stadium grounds.

Other than paying what I assume would be $8 to park, there's plenty of parking at the stadium as blazermatt said. If trying to avoid paying anything, that being why you posed the question, I'm not sure of anything from campus other than maybe the Alumni Society possibly having something but since they'll be tailgating at the stadium this year instead of at their house, I don't think they'll have anything either.

Don't worry. Only 10% of the fanbase died in the parking lots last year...a record low.

Yes, I am a Troy fan...wasn't hiding that. I just thought I would ask the people who might know. There is a reason I am asking and would prefer to not get into any petty disagreements.

You don't want or need a shuttle. There's tons of parking close. They'll take your $8 but your car and you will be fine. One of the joys of being a Blazer fan is stuff like parking very close and light traffic. Don't sweat it.

Trust me.... your vehicle will be fine.

LF will be swamped with Birmingham PD, and it's only 8 bucks.

That said: I wouldn't recommend parking in anyone's yard outside the stadium.

Don't worry about MB, he's not the official BT greeter & we don't all bite. The neighborhood isn't any worse than what it was when UAT was playing games there & it was fine for them but a perception problem for us. I've never had a problem in my years parking/tailgating there. If truly worried about it, see about other Troy fans coming up that you may carpool w/ or if Troy is running a group bus up. Our Alumni Assoc ran a bus down to Troy last year so yours may do the same.

Park in the stadium parking. You will be fine. Glad to have you.

They used to have a bus for students, but not really for regular fans. And yes, parking is safe, even in the neighborhoods. As MB said, the Murder rate at games has hit an all time low.

And that really only equated to about 25 people, so...it didn't even get that much news coverage.

I think we should spread the rumor that the reason that our attendance has dropped over the years is because we are slowly being killed off because we park at Legion Field.

Where is the $8 parking? I ALWAYS park at the bar/lounge across from the main entrance of Legion Field for $5 and my car has survived every time.

I've had a great experience with stadium parking every time. Do it.

$8 for parking on LF property IIRC (don't pay since I've got parking pass) but I think as you found across the street people charge $5
