Kinda surprised JK apparently didn't get a look back with the Bengals with all the LB injuries - especially Rey M. It appears he's a free agent (per wikipedia anyway) - maybe he's moved on from football.

He's still on the Bengals roster on the Reserved/Injured list so he could still be dealing with concussion problems. Cleared waivers after training camp so the Bengals get to keep him until the end of the season - don't think they would release him because he's not taking away any roster spots at the moment.

Good detective work InspectorHound! Now that you mention it, that does sound familiar - thanks. Digging a little deeper, here's a piece on it confirming he's out for the year but remains with the Bengals: JK

One more reason not to completely trust wikipedia I guess...

RE: Tracking NFL Bearcats
Connor Barwin, OLB: Barwin is tied for second in the NFL in sacks, with 10.5. He's also tied for second in the NFL in batted passes, with four (per ProFootballFocus). That is extremely impressive, considering he has dropped into coverage 135 times this season. Barwin plays the run well, he can cover, and now he's got some impressive numbers to go along with his versatility. I like the comparison to Ex-Eagle Jason Babin made by Tommy Lawlor of IgglesBlitz.com.

Is Connor Barwin the anti-Jason Babin? He’s having a career year (like Babin did in 2011), but Barwin is doing it the right way and remains loved and respected by the guys he plays with and against.

Some saying Barwin to the ProBowl if he keeps it up

no kidding. it boggles the mind to think of how many people might be affected positively by just one change. of course the opposite works as well. hitler was a lovely painter until some off color critique of a swan in a pond suggested he'd be better off exterminating the jews

Watched the game, Zack's Hamilton team came up short when a game winning TD run has called back by penalty.
