ACC Rivalry Trophies
I expect over time we may get into some new rivalry trophy games. Maybe.....

Louisville vs. UNC for Daniel Boone's Rifle. He lived in NC and blazed the trail from there to KY across the Cumberland Gap.

Louisville vs. Virginia for the Commonwealth Cup. We are both Commonwealth's and we were originally part of Colonial Virginia.

Louisville vs. Pitt for the Old Time Pilot Wheel from a river steamboat. We are both on the same river. Just as long as it doesn't look anything like the aweful trophy Pitt had with UC.

Bearcat alum who comes in peace--

Are you guys hearing anything about the UK series ending for football? The UC beatwriter at the Cincinnati Enquirer has mentioned now on a couple occasions that UC and UK are putting together a home and home series. Would be shocked to see UK schedule both of us OOC.

Looks like we will be playing Pitt again too ---- in 2023 and 2024 (groan)

When it comes to those wusses I wouldn't be surprised.

Have heard the rumors of UK & Cincy playing & UK has seemed disinterested in playing Louisville but I think its almost a must that every SEC team plays a P5 OOC game and with it now being part of the SEC/ACC challenge I think it will continue. UK & Cincy would be a good game, I can see them playing both of us, alternating home & away between us. They used to play IU but they stoped being a challenge. I would like to see it happen. I would love to see the battle for the keg of nails continue. Good luck to Cincy this year.
