I'm pretty sure that UC's basketball supremacy over offsets your football advantage. Has ECU ever beaten UC in basketball?
Just looked... that is a nope. UC 7-0. Talk about a joke of a program. Has ECU ever been to the NCAA tourney?
Yes, twice, anything else?
SO you have the same number of NCAA tournament appearances as you have 10+ win football seasons?!?!?!? Shows how weak the football really has been!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weak my ass, not when your playing WVU, South Carolina, Maimi, UNC, VT, NC State in your OOC.
UC has only 5 10 win seasons, only 1 before going the BE (1951), no 10 win seasons in CUSA and only 1 title, UC is 8-6 in bowl games.
ECU, is 9-10, which means we been to 5 more bowl games than UC.
UC 3 consensus ALL-Americans
ECU 20 consensus All-Americans.
Before going the BE/AAC only 1 10 win season for UC 1951, 14 bowls, 3 consensus All Americans
Before going the AAC 2 10 win season (1991, 2013), 19 bowl games, 20 Consensus All Americans

Why do you discount our time after 2005??? We have played Oklahoma, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, NC State, Tennessee and Oregon State all in our OOC since joining the Big East where we had tough games against Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Louisville!!! So we were able to win 10+ games in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012 facing tougher schedule than ECU!!!!! Nice try though!!!!!!

You start a thread about a teams football history sucking, you have lost 70% of the times we played and Arrrrggghhh ranked lower now. We are about to almost double your stadium capacity and then you want to talk about ECU basketball.

Without this thread, I wouldn't have even known ECU fielded a basketball team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Difference in ability to recruit, money, exposure. If you could read, I haven't discounted them. Equal compassion on even field.
10+ win seasons
UC 5
ECU 2
Bowl games
ECU 19
UC 14
Consensus All Americans
ECU 20
UC 3
Bowl wins
ECU 9
UC 8
Conference Titles (reminder that ECU has more years as an Indy than UC)

Seriously? You're going to talk to me about baseball? I know a handful of fans here actually care about college baseball, but I know very few people in Ohio who care (and my uncle won the CWS while at Ohio State in the 60's, very impressive ring on his finger). Why don't Ohioan's care? Because the best players go straight into the pros. Sure, a few go to college but in general the best go pro right out of HS hence it just does not interest me.

As long as you know you are the biggest tool on the internet I am fine. Don't forget who owns you on the field.

That's what all those up north say all the time. We just had a pitcher go in the first round 11th over all, missed the last month of the season with Tommy John surgery. We also had Chad Tracy, Seth Maness with the Cards and a ton of others, and we sucked by our standards the past few years. We've had crowds over 5,500 for mid-week games. It's different down here in the south, especially Eastern NC, baseball is huge here.
You will learn about our baseball, you will have no choice!

Well we've obviously accomplished something off the football field now haven't we.

How many college players were drafted versus HS players?

UCs dance team has been national champions many times. Does that count? Nope.
Hey, a CHAMPIONSHIP is a CHAMPIONSHIP! In all seriousness! ANYTHING that furthers or brings pride & good press to one's University is worth a mention, IMO.

I saw a breakdown on the a Utah blog about 7 or 8 years ago and from the early 90's until then and it was almost a 3rd more than the next closest team. Of course we also beat more as well the years they had drawn from and it really wasn't even close...Next question.
That doesn't explain why you haven't finished ranked since 1995....or why you haven't even averaged 7 wins a season over the last decade...or why you've only won 10 games twice in history...You've had such easy schedules since joining C-USA...
Completely wrong, and most schools wouldn't be ranked playing some of the schedules we have because they wouldn't win enough of them.
We have routinely had some of the toughest OOC schedules in the nation in all of college football since we have been in CUSA. Another thing not mentioned is we have hardly ever played those easy D1aa's you load up on.
The 15 years from 1999-2013 for example we have only played 3 D1aa's and two of those games to a program that was better than many D1a's in App State.
-OOC since 1999 we have only played 5 games OOC that weren't vs BCS. That was 4 games vs national team Navy who has been very good and 1 vs ODU.
If you want perspective....Cincy played 12 D1aa's in those same 15 years.
That's 4 times the easy padding alone as we have played in the same period. . You also play Miami (Oh) years and a a lot of other MAC crap where we have been playing P5 schools.
I just saw this thread. Legit question for ECU fans: if your win totals were down because you were playing top-notch competition, why were you only able to win Conference USA twice? I understand that you weren't on even ground with out of conference BCS competition. Kudos for not backing down from a challenge. But you weren't really taking care of business in-conference either. The two times you won CUSA, it was already watered down having lost Louisville, UC, and USF.

We didn't even care about football! Once UC actually started to care about football we started winning 10 games almost every year!!!!! ECU has cared about football for ever and they are STILL mediocre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
