No Taylor would be a big blow to our passing game, obviously. I wouldn't expect much at all through the air if he doesn't play. Need to hope Jowan Davis has a huge game.

I think you're being overly pessimistic here. Yes, it's a big blow to our passing game (as is having Cella out for the first third of the season), but by all accounts, both Parks and Hull have had excellent camps, and have vastly improved. I also wouldn't be surpised if Turner sees some action in the Peterson flanker-type role, as well as using Davis and Dillard on screens or checkoff passes. And, defensively, ND is most vulnerable in the secondary; especially with two starters (safety and #1 CB) suspended for the game.

I'm definitely being pessimistic. Hope you are right. But we've seen what a security blanket Taylor can be for our QB's, where he gets open over and over against certain teams. We will miss that. But, Driphus has been practicing without him for a couple of weeks now and the other WR's are talented, so there is hope. I'm just a bit upset we won't have our big weapon in the passing game.
