I'm confused.

From the Advertiser article:

The article then goes on to say he's a 5th year senior.

I guess he could petition for a 6th year since he missed practically all of a prior year due to injury. Could the same apply to DJ Vinson?

I doubt it since he burned a year due to grades.

Wonder where Greer would have been on the depth chart. Just saw where he'll be starting for UNT.

Greer had a cannon for an arm, so probably pretty high

I'd imagine that if McGee had left earlier than he did or wasn't hired at all, Austin would probably be the starter w/ Greer/Briscoe battling for 2nd & Clements wouldn't be here as the need wouldn't have been there to get a qb other than a freshman for the future. But alas it didn't happen so we have to live with what did & hope for the best
