MWC Football Predictions 2014
Both the East and West have intriguing races this season.

The West could be won by San Diego State, Fresno State or Nevada.

The Mountain looks to be a two team race between Utah State and Boise State.

How do you see the conference playing out?

Colorado St. looks to have a competitive team in 2014. This weekend's game with the Rams visiting the Broncos should be a good one. And, we should see if CSU is a contender or pretender.

RE: MWC Football Predictions 2014
Looks like the Mountain Division is firmly Boise St.'s to lose.

Although, you wonder how much scheduling will factor into the race. Boise St. plays Fresno St., SDSU, and at Nevada. Utah St. misses all three West Division contenders.

The West Division race looks like a Nevada and SDSU race. Fresno St. has not looked great against early PAC 12 competition. Scheduling could again be a factor in the West Division. The Wolfpack gets Boise St., SDSU, and Fresno at home. SDSU gets Nevada, Fresno, and Boise on the road. Fresno travels to Nevada and Boise, but SDSU at home. Nevada clearly has the home field edge.

RE: MWC Football Predictions 2014
So the Mountain West already is devoid of undefeated teams, just three weeks into the season. Fresno State has been a post-Carr flop, Boise State faltered in its opener against an admittedly solid Ole Miss team, and Utah State couldn't hang with Tennessee in its SEC test. There could still be a contender for the Group of Five automatic bid in the bunch, though, a team that hasn't looked this good since it used to be a member of the WAC. Read more about where the MWC contenders stand in the G5 pecking order...
